Your Documents

Your organization keeps employment paperwork here rather than in email, so that it stays in one place and you can find it years later.

Go to Documents & Contracts → HR Documents.

The HR Documents screen, listing documents with their category and dates

This holds documents that concern you — contracts, letters, certificates, policies and similar. Use the search box and the category filter to narrow the list, then open a document to read or download it.

Go to Documents & Contracts → Acknowledgments.

The Acknowledgments screen, listing documents assigned to the employee with their acknowledgment status

An acknowledgment is a document your organization needs you to confirm you have read — an updated handbook, a policy change, a safety briefing.

  1. Open the list and look for anything not yet acknowledged.

  2. Open the document and actually read it. You are confirming that you have.

  3. Confirm the acknowledgment.

  4. The record updates with the date and time.

Your employment contract and any renewals are kept under Documents & Contracts as well. You can read and download your own; you cannot change one.

If a contract shows the wrong dates, salary or job title, tell HR. What is recorded here is what the rest of the system uses.

Can I upload my own documents? Usually not. Most organizations have HR upload on your behalf so the filing stays consistent. If you have something to add — a new certificate, an updated ID — send it to HR.

Can colleagues see my documents? No. HR staff can, because managing them is their job.

I acknowledged something by mistake. Tell HR. The record cannot be removed from this screen, but they can note the correction.

A document will not open. Try downloading it instead of viewing it in the browser. If that fails too, the file may not have uploaded properly — tell HR which document it is.
